Eva K. Nocus passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Springhill Village in Terre Haute after a lengthy illness. Eva was born in Heltonville, Indiana to Harold and Thelma Brown. She met the love of her life, Bob Nocus while working at a bank in Bedford, and the couple married five months later. She and Bob lived in Rockville for many years, before moving to Terre Haute. Eva worked as a legal secretary, retiring from C. Don Nattkemper's law firm. She enjoyed crocheting, making quilts for her family, stamp collecting and was a master of jigsaw puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law, Timothy Lively, and her husband of 61 years, Robert "Bob". Surviving are four daughters, Teri (Larry) Nelson, Kathy Lively, Joni (Eric) Weeks, and Tracy (Mark) Richards. She was Granma to seven grandchildren, Lindsay (Zachariah) Garrison, Kristen (Ryan) Weeks Sheehy, Kelli (Matt) Weeks Siegel, Chelsea Conrad, Bryce Weeks (fiancé Savannah Van Skyhawk), Joel Nelson and Ethan Lively. She was Great-Granma to Parker Sheehy, Zander Sheehy, and soon-to-be Baby Boy Garrison. Eva is also survived by her brother Howard Brown, a sister Bettie (Thomas Michael) Fields, brother in-law Richard (Judy) Nocus, and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will Celebrate Eva's Life on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 11 AM at the Clinton First United Methodist Church at 4th and Blackman Street in Clinton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the Organ Fund at Clinton First United Methodist Church, or to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the service.
