Evan “Jay” Davis, 53, of Terre Haute, passed away at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born January 14, 1958 in Vigo County to Evan L. and Barbara June (McCrocklin) Davis. Jay worked at AET and later at Sony. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, bicycling, walking, and the outdoors. He was a fan of NASCAR and the Chicago Bears. Jay enjoyed his family and cherished the time he spent with his children.
Jay is survived by his father, Evan L. Davis of Terre Haute, his children, Jenna and Jacob Davis of Terre Haute, a sister, Sherri Sherertz and husband Mike of Terre Haute; his former wife, the love of his life and mother of his children, Rosemaria Rosselli; and his beloved cat, Peppermint.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 1 from 4 – 8 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor John Lawson officiating.
