Fred Francis Hoback Jr.

Fred Francis Hoback, Jr., 53, of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at his home. He was born on October 25, 1961, in Terre Haute, to Fred Francis Hoback, Sr. and Ruth Livingston Hoback. Fred worked as a computer specialist at ISU for over 25 years. He loved to read, play video games, and watch the History Channel.

Fred is survived by his mother, Ruth Hoback of Terre Haute; two brothers, Jimmy Hoback and John Hoback; a sister, Sandy Sampson and husband John; a special nephew James Akers and special niece Shirley Akers; several other nieces, nephews, and special great-nephew, Gabrial Jaymze Akers and other great-nephews; an aunt, Margaret McCracken; uncle, Jim McCracken; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Steve Hoback and Richard Hoback.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 1 on Friday, March 27 at Thomas Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.thomasfuneralhome.net
