George retired from Kroger after many years of services. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time with his family.
George is survived by his daughters, Crystal Cook and her husband Johnny, and Carol Long; a sister, Jerry Borden, plus his six grandchildren. He also had several nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Long, his parents, George and Mildred Long, and a sister, Billie Christenberry.
Services will be Friday, January 8, 2016 at 1PM at Roselawn Funeral Home with a visitation Friday, January 8, 2016 from 11AM to1PM at the funeral home.
