He is preceded in death by his wife, Gay Lee; his parents; six brothers and three sisters.
Charlie is survived by his sisters: Shirley Mills, Linda Powers and Iris Smith; several nieces and nephews; special friend Jimmy Dean; and friends; Sharon and Larry Vanlandingham.
He served in the Army in Korea. He is a member of Post 104 for 50 years, Marine Corp, and the Murdock Club.
Charlie owned Orndorff Trucking for many years.
Visitation will be held Monday May 13, 2024, at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home from 1 PM to 3 PM. Funeral services will begin at 3 PM with Pastor Bob Roush officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery.
