

Gloria Marlow, 73, a lifelong resident of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Union Hospital. The love of Gloria’s life was her family. She was happiest when providing affection, guidance and support to her loved ones. She was born on Valentine’s Day in 1939.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Allen, and a son and daughter; Randy and his fiancée Angela Kuykendall of Terre Haute; and Debbie and her partner Pam Watson of Lafayette, Ind. Other survivors are a brother, David Piker of Terre Haute, his wife Jennifer and Matthew their son. She is also survived by a granddaughter and her best friend, Marlena Pohlman of Terre Haute and her husband Ted, and their children Teddy, Elizabeth and Lillian. Survivors include a brother-in-law, Jim Marlow and his wife Phyllis, and a sister-in-law, Jane Marlow, all of Terre Haute; and a cousin, William Lanning of Boynton Beach, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother Robert and Mary Piker, grandparents George and Mary Craciun, and an uncle, George Craciun, Jr. all formerly of Terre Haute; and an uncle and aunt Enos and Helen Lanning, formerly of Evansville, Ind.
Gloria was a graduate of the former State High School in Terre Haute. Her work career was at Columbia Records, Wal-Mart and Hallmark.
She cherished a house full of family, especially when her great grandchildren visited, the simple things in life and the achievements of her children, grandchild and great grandchildren.
Visitation and funeral services will be Saturday at Roselawn Funeral Home. Visitation is from noon until 2 p.m. Funeral services begin at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mike Seals officiating.
