Harriet Ann Hyde

Harriet Ann Hyde, 70, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 1, 2018 with her daughter by her side. Ann was born March 8, 1948 in Terre Haute to Harry William Hughes and Emma Katherine Britton Hughes. Ann is survived by 2 daughters, Kimberly Hughes and Kristie Hennette and her fiancée Nathan Kirkham; 1 grandson, Deven Phillips and 1 great-grandson, Dalton Phillips; 2 brothers, Bill Hughes and Mark May and his wife Megan; 2 sisters, Sue Jones and Sharon Homan and her husband Jerry; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma and Paul May; 2 sisters, Barbara Dunigan and Sandra Stuck; and a granddaughter Lacey Phillips whom she adored. Ann was a tireless worker at Midland Glass, Ivy Hill, Chesty Foods and Indiana State University. She loved to fish and hunt mushrooms. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and playing poker. Visitation will be Saturday, April 7th from 1–3pm in Roselawn Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 3pm in the funeral home with Pastor Larry Lilly officiating.
