

Helen F. “Bebe” Reed, 83, of Brazil formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. Helen was employed by Root’s Department Store for 25 years. She was a very crafty woman who enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, sewing, and puzzles. She was very involved in the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, which gave her the ability to travel all around the United States with her husband and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who loved spending time with her loved ones more than anything.
She is survived by her 3 children, Brenda (Doug) Scott of Brazil, Penni Reed of Indianapolis, and Tom (Beth) Reed Jr. of Terre Haute; 4 grandchildren, Justin Reed Scott, Whitney Nicole Scott, Shelby Lynae Reed, and Brayton Thomas Reed; 1 great-granddaughter, Aemilia Nicole; sister, Sue Ella (Tony) Dunigan; brother, Frank (Debra) Mallory; sister-in-laws, Doris Mallory, Mary Mallory, and Connie Mallory-Johnson; the fourth Reed, Maggie Freed; and her beloved dog and faithful companion, Abbi.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Tommy; her parents, Forest and Harriett Mallory; sisters, Garland Short and Peggy Riley; and brothers, Mickey Mallory and Bill Mallory.
A funeral service will be held in Helen’s honor on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Helen will be placed to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park’s Chapel of Memories beside Tommy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
