

Jack is survived by his children, Jackie Pittman-Tincher and husband Les of Terre Haute; John Pittman of Terre Haute; Elizabeth Pittman (Andrew) of England; and Jazzmine White and husband Dalton of Ohio; six grandchildren; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jack Dalton Pittman; and an sister, Rebecca Pittman.
Jack owned and operated The Shop for over 40 years. He was the Past President of Cloven Hoofs, joining the club in 1971. He was a long time member of ABATE. An animal lover, Jack always took care of cats and even had a pet bear for many years. He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting in his younger days. Jack also loved to go to swap meets. He enjoyed taking trips to Montana on his bike. Jack had the gift of gab. He had a knack for telling stories and loved talking to people. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend who enjoyed life and especially enjoyed doting on his granddaughter, Aubrie. He will be truly missed.
