Jacqueline Edna Childs

Jacqueline Edna Childs, 55, of Terre Haute went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2018 at Union Hospital. She was born on September 20, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio to Joseph Letts and Mary (Jackson) Letts. Jacqueline was a member of The Latter Day Saints Church. She loved to spend time with her family, write poetry, work puzzles, and crochet. Jacqueline is survived by one daughter, Vanessa Childs; one son Philip Childs; two brothers, James Letts and Michael Letts; one grandson, Steven “S.J.” Hille III; one soon-to-be granddaughter, Violet Hille; her God-children; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Medora Jackson; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nathaniel and Martha (Cureton) Childs; and her grandmother, Medora Williams. Visitation will be from 12:00pm-3:00pm Saturday June 23, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3:00pm with Bishop Mike Parker officiating.
