James retired from Duke Energy as a maintenance supervisor after 38 years of service. He graduated from Concannon High School, was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of American Legion Post 104. He loved to play golf!
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Beverly J. (Tonetti) Roberts, whom he married May 22, 1965; his daughter, Julie Roberts; a brother, Charles "Red" Roberts (Marie); and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of the Resurrection will be Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in his memory be made to the Mesothelioma Research Foundation, 1615 L Street NW, Suite 430, Washington, DC 20036.
