Janet Peterson

Janet Gail Peterson passed from this life in peace at the age of 65 to be in the arms of Jesus on February 9, 2026. Her body is no longer living wheelchair bound, no more pain from a liver and kidneys that didn’t function anymore. She loved Jesus and prayed daily to shine for Him so that she could be a blessing to others. She certainly accomplished that goal by visiting those in her home who were alone. She considered everyone there her family and prayed for them daily. She was bold in asking everyone if they knew her Jesus. Janet spread her love around with joy and was loved by all who knew her.

Janet was born on May 22, 1960, in Turlock, California to Melvin and Nettie Peterson.

She loved going to activities and was considered the bingo queen.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Nettie Peterson, an infant son, Timmy Issacson, maternal grandparents Frank and Susie Schmidt and paternal grandparents, John and Alfreda Peterson.

She is survived by her brothers, Ron Peterson and wife, Joann and Randy Peterson and wife, Debbie; nieces and nephews: Joey Peterson, Rhonda Fragiacomo, Jordan Peterson, Corey Peterson, Lindsay Peterson and Megan Engleman; a large number of great nieces and nephews and a large extended family.

Per Janet’s wishes, cremation was chosen.

We of course are saddened by losing her but happy to know where she is and we will see her again.
