Jeffery Dean McClain, 59, of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Union Hospital. He was born on May 31, 1955, in Terre Haute to Billy and Esther (Hoffman) McClain. He married Jeanna Eddy on September 22, 2007.
Jeffery was a 1973 graduate of Terre Haute North. He loved his career as a truck driver, spending the last 10 years driving for Caseys General Store. Jeffrey loved to spend time in his garage. He could always be found there watching Nascar races or Peyton Manning play football. Even the cold weather couldn’t keep him from his garage, he was well known for having a roaring fire in his woodburning stove whenever the weather turned chilly. Most of all, Jeffery cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. Being a Papaw brought great joy to his life. He was a simple man who loved his family and his buddy, Bosco, who came to him as a stray and became his loyal canine companion. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
