JoAnn Burns passed away Feb. 19th, 2026, at Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton Ind. Everyone that knew JoAnn loved her. She had the kindest of hearts and was the closest thing to an angel as you could get. She was a devoted mother and grandma. In her free time, she loved to watch her soap operas and read. Traveling always brought her so much joy and new stories to tell.
She is survived by sons Steve, Pete Jr. (Martha), Tim (Audrey), Tom (Clancee) and a brother Jerry Thomas (Jane). She had several grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, a niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Letha and Richard Thomas, sister Bonnie, husband Pete and sons Mark Burns and Michael Burns and her niece Becky.
Services for JoAnn will be on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 1:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park.
