June Carolyn Kuykendall

Three of June’s attributes besides being a great cook and homemaker was putting others before herself, being a great proofreader of high school and college papers and her unwavering support and guidance for her daughters and grandchildren.

June was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Kuykendall Jr, her youngest daughter, Sharon Gayle Kuykendall-de’Blecourt, her son-in-law, Jerry Wood, and a nephew, Damon LaSance.

Left to cherish June’s memory are her loving and oldest daughter, Kathy Kuykendall Lain Wood, her grandchildren, Samuel de’Blecourt and Ellen de’Blecourt Walser, great grandchildren, Kinslee Wasler and Rowan Wasler, son-in-laws, Leo de’Blecourt and Steve Walser, a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Richard LaSance and their daughters, Rene and Danielle.

A simple, closed casket service will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 11:30am at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 North Clinton Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47805. Burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in June’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the charity of your choice.
