Leslie graduated from Terre Haute North Vigo High School in 2007 and attended Ivy Tech Community College and worked for Tech Direct in Terre Haute.
Leslie met the love of his life, Chelsea Ford in 2014 and the two became soulmates. Together they had a beautiful baby boy, Leslie Miller III, born July 7, 2015, who Leslie loved and adored. Leslie loved to brag on his son and was very proud to be a father. He wanted to show off his son to family and strangers alike. He was very content and extremely happy to be a family man.
Leslie was very involved with Terre Town baseball since a young boy through his teens and adulthood. He loved to play basketball in high school and was a stand-out star for Terre Haute North Vigo High School. During his career at THN he led the team to many victories. He continued his love for basketball through intramural leagues with his brothers. Leslie loved to go out with his best friends for 18 holes of golf no matter the weather. Anything athletic, Leslie was involved and extremely competitive.
Leslie loved to make others laugh and his laugh was contagious. He loved to dance and show his moves to anyone who would watch. He and his brothers would break out in dance and song when one of their favorite songs came on and competed with his brothers for his mother’s attention.
Leslie’s life here on earth was short, but those who were touched by him understood his loving heart and his value for family. The most important thing to Leslie was his family.
Leslie is survived by his son, Leslie Miller III; his parents, Leslie and Christine Miller of Terre Haute; his sister, Jennifer Mowbray-Burnett and Jake Boyer of Terre Haute; brothers, Jordon Miller and his wife Danielle Miller of Terre Haute; Logan Miller and his wife Jacqueline Miller of Evansville; his paternal grandmother, Anita and Harold Maxwell of Terre Haute; and maternal grandparents, Donald and Deanna Lammey of Sevierville, TN. He is also survived by a loving girlfriend and the mother of his son, Chelsea Ford, her parents, April and David Ford, his future brother-in-law Joshua Ford, and very special Oma Ford, who washed and bleached his t-shirts so that they were always sparkling white. Leslie is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew Nolan Burnett, and nieces Nora Burnett and Leylah Jo Miller (due to be born March 3, 2016).
Leslie was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William Miller.
