Lester E. “Pudge” Wiggins went on his last journey from his mortal home to his heavenly one on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. His wife and beloved canine friend, Grover, were by his side.
He was born on July 17, 1932 to Lester and Lillian (Thomas) Wiggins, who preceded him in death.
Pudge leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Carol J. (Kendall) Wiggins; two children, Charles N. Wiggins of Dudley, IL and Charla K. (Robert) Evinger of Marshall, IL. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Chris (Amy) Wiggins of Sierra Madre, CA; Kayla (Austin) Wiggins-Hoesman of Whitestown, IN; Nicole (Cody) Adams of Lexington, KY; Amanda Evinger of Sumner, IL; and Dean Evinger of Marshall, IL; five great-grandchildren, Madeline, Dominic, Ella, Evelyn, and Theodore; a brother, Louis Wiggins and friend Barb; sister-in-law, Pam Kendall; brother-in-law, Billy Jo (Margi) Kendall; two nieces, and two nephews.
Pudge proudly served in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran.
Per his wishes, Pudge will be cremated with no funeral services. He will be laid to rest during a private family ceremony in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
