She was a 1957 graduate of Garfield High School. She retired from Union Hospital as a medical lab technician. Mary Jane was a rockhound and enjoyed hiking and geode hunting. She loved to sew and paint. She was also a cat lover.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her special friend, Jean Armstrong, a nephew, Ryan Switzer and a niece, Patty Sedletzeck.
She is survived by her nephews, Karl P. Davis (Teri) and their son Kristopher P. Davis and Tom Sedletzeck; nieces, Cheyenne R. Switzer (Casey) and Sierra D. Wright (Halee); and a great nephew, Michael K. Switzer.
Mary Jane will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a local animal shelter in her memory.
