Mary Alice Germain

Mary Alice Germain, 86, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019, in the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. She was born October 29, 1932, in Terre Haute, to Leonard Utterback and Estella Mable (Pound) Utterback. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles P. "Bud" Germain in November 2001. Mary is survived by her children Lynn Caughran (Terry), Kevin Germain (Patricia), Cathy Cassiday (Alan) and Tracy Hawkins; 5 grandsons; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was an administrative secretary for the Terre Haute Center for Medical Education at Indiana State University for over 30 years. Mary loved politics and animals. She also enjoyed reading and watching MSNBC! Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Lilly officiating. Mary will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in memory of Mary may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society, 1811 S.
