Mildred Catherine Scott

She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana to Martha and John Dicks on May 20, 1928.

Mildred was an active member of the Senior Center, where she enjoyed line dancing and listening to live bands, among many other activities. Mildred was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was happiest while spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest C. Scott; her parents; and her sisters, Helen Hoskinson and Fran Alan.

Mildred’s survivors include her children, Ernest Scott Jr., John Scott, Jennifer (Ron) Long, Lynn (Jeff) Caudill, and Carol Clampitt; grandchildren, Ernie (Kathy) Scott III, Misty Boyll, Tabbitha Scott, Ryan (Vicki) Scott, Joshua (Meghan) Scank, Samantha (Robert) Hunt, Scott Clampitt, Brandi Caudill, Jeffrey Caudill, Mikaela and Austin Powell; great-grandchildren, Eric Scott, Ethan Scott, Shelby Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Johnnathon Wyrick; Bristyl Scott; Adam, Rylan, Caedynce Scank, and Sidney Scott; sisters, Margaret Hood and Dorthy Scott; brother John Dicks; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held in Mildred’s honor on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park.
