Nadine was born in Indianapolis, Oct. 28, 1924, and worked as a beautician for 10 years. She then worked in cosmetics for the Meis Department Store and Roots Department Store until she retired. In retirement, she worked part time for Terre Haute First National Bank.
She is survived by her three children, James D. Smith and his wife Lorae of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Mrs. Judith K. Eberle and her husband Robert of Ocala, Fla., and Mrs. Margo D. Varner and her husband Chauncey of Shipshewana. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, in the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park following services.
