Richard Dane Kutch Sr.

Richard Dane Kutch, Sr., 61, of Terre Haute passed away on Friday, June 14 at home. He was born on October 25, 1951, in Clinton, to William and Sarah (Myers) Kutch. He married Dorothy Bowling on September 20, 1975 and together they raised four children. Richard proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War Era. He enjoyed traveling and playing baseball. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Richard is survived by his wife of 37 years, Dorothy; their children, Kimberlee Kutch, Maria Kutch, Richard Kutch, Jr. and his wife Angela, and Jason Kutch, all of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Abygail Chlebowski and Jason Kutch, Jr. of Terre Haute; sisters, Cecilia Todd, Barbara Schlapp, both of Terre Haute, Sally Loesch, Gloria Grassick, Mary Shores, and Charlotte Roth, all of Florida; and brothers Charles Kutch of Terre Haute and John Kutch of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, William, Robert, and Andrew Kutch. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18 at Roselawn Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday with Pastor David Lowe officiating. Burial with military rites performed by VFW Post 972 will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
