Rose was born to Lawrence and Margrett Compton on October 24, 1930 in Terre Haute, Indiana. Rose graduated from Gerstmeyer High School in 1948. She later worked for Reuben Donnelley Corporation as well. She married William Henneman in 1950 and together they raised two daughters. She LOVED to solve word search puzzles.
Rose is survived by her daughter Patty Milner (Bob); grandchildren Bob Milner Jr., Becky Milner, and Shawn Henneman; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded by her parents Lawrence and Margrett (Remlinger) Compton, her beloved husband of 58 years William Henneman, her daughter Peggy Henneman, her brother Bob Compton, and her sister Mary Downing.
A visitation will be held Monday, December 1, 2025 at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home with services to immediately follow. She will be laid to rest next to William at Highland Lawn Cemetery.
