Ruth A Felker

Ruth A. Felker, 87, of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, January 9 at Cannon Inn. She was born on January 3, 1925, in Brazil to James and Beulah (Burger) DeCamp. She married William W. Felker in 1946 and he preceded her in death on September 7, 2009. Ruth was raised in Terre Haute was a graduate of Gerstmeyer High School. She worked at Columbia House for over 30 years before retiring. Ruth was an excellent seamstress and loved the flowers that Bill grew for her. She and Bill enjoyed cruises and travelling. Together, they visited all 50 states twice.

Ruth is survived by her niece, Kay Boatman of West Terre Haute, great-niece, Toni McQueary and her husband Joe of West Terre Haute, great-nephew Gary Boatman and his wife Sheila of West Terre Haute, great-great-nieces, Kaylin and Kyleigh McQueary, a great-great-nephew, Josh Boatman, and a step-great-great-nephew, Curtis Wilson.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 63 years, Bill.

Private graveside services were held at Roselawn Memorial Park. Roselawn Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA/Hospice of the Wabash Valley. Online condolences may be made at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
