Sherri Lynn Gray

Sherri Lynn Gray, 51, of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2019, at Union Hospital. She was born on September 27, 1967, in Terre Haute to Ronald Lee and Marcia Lynn (Higgins) Bland. Sherri is survived by her children, Jessica Gray of Terre Haute, Brandy Sims and fiancé Josh Roberts of Terre Haute, and Brian McKinney and wife Courtney of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Kadrien Flowers, Keiontáe Wilford, Za’Rhianna Gray, Leland Roberts, Nevaeh Roberts, Bayley McKinney, Hunter McKinney, and Kameryn McKinney; step-sister, Madonna Phifer Fields; and step-brothers, Jimmy Phifer, Maurice Taggart, and Mark Phifer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Marcia Bland; daughter, Kimberly Gray; brother, Jeffrey Bland; and best friend, Joanne Chesterfield. Sherri enjoyed doing puzzles and playing games on Facebook. She liked to relax with a glass of tea and watch ID television. For years, she doted on her dog, Mouse and her cat, Mow. Sherri always looked forward to visiting with her friends on Wednesday, also known as “Girls Day.” She will be truly missed. Sherri was greeted in Heaven by the love of her life, Tony “Butch” Trosper. Per Sherri’s wishes, cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Sherri’s Life will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, April 26 at the Indoor Pavilion at Collett Park. Please bring a covered dish to share.
