

Stephen Hariel King, 67 of Noblesville and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017, at 5:07 am. He was born in Terre haute, March 7, 1950 and was a graduate of Garfield High School. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, John and Barbara King, his wife, Diane King, His brother, Michael King, and his furbaby Charlie.
Stephen is survived by two children, Kevin King (wife Tammy), and Kelli Popp (husband Peter) and two step-sons, Paul Masters (wife Jennifer) and Steven Masters. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, Elizabeth Frederick (fiancée Luke), Tyler King, Ashley Frederick, Hank Masters, Brendan King, Ben Masters, Noah Popp, Alex King, Seth Masters, Bradey King and Abigail King. In addition, he was also survived by two brothers, John King (wife Nancy) and Bill King (wife Pam), and a sister, Linda Selzer (husband Steve); as well as several nieces and nephews. Stephen is also survived by his two fur babies, Toby and Zhiva Diane.
Steve spent many years as a computer programming consultant and was a soccer coach and officiant. He was also a veteran and served in the Army Reserves. He was best known in his later years as “Grandpa Steve” to all of the neighborhood children.
Visitation will be held at Roselawn on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at 12 p.m. with memorial service immediately following at 1 p.m. There will be a gathering at Kleptz restaurant in Seelyville for family and close friends at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to either Seasons Hospice, The Kidney Foundation or Disabled Veterans of America.
