

Bonnette Archer Belew of Tyler passed away May, 2014. She was born July 10, 1944 in Terrell, Texas to Frank and Jimmie (Ashworth) Archer, both of whom preceded her in death along with her son, Marty Springer, siblings: Clifton and Elland Archer. Bonnette was a Registered Nurse, having received her degree with Trinity Valley Community College and she worked with Terrell State Hospital for 25 years until her retirement. A caring and creative person, Bonnette had many diverse interests such as oil painting, playing banjo and traveling to new places. Her love for her family was the foundation of her life and she was immensely proud of her grandson, Aaron. She had a spiritual quality that tied in closely to the love she had with her family which enabled her to be the model of devotion. Bonnette’s kindness and generosity were constant attributes that others could rely on during any time of need. Along with her kindness, she also had a strong will that defined her personality. Bonnette was a faithful servant of the Lord having a membership with Southside Baptist church in Tyler where she had many friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Lori Nickell of Tyler, grandson, Aaron Templeman of Arlington; brothers: Pete (F.J.) Archer of Mesquite, Carl (A.C.) Archer of Springtown and Don Archer of Terrell; sister, Inez Doss and husband, Gerald, of Quinlan; cousin, Doris Webster of Plano as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, a host of friends and Lori’s dog, whom she adored, Grace.
Funeral service for Bonnette will be Monday, May 5, 2014 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel with interment to follow at Oakland Memorial Park in Terrell. The family will receive friends 6-8pm, Sunday, May 4, 2014 at the funeral home. Condolences may be given to the family at www.andersonclaytonterrell.com.
