She grew in up Talty on the Irish Ridge, attended Saint Martin’s Academy through the eighth grade and then graduated from Forney High School. After earning her degree in nursing at St. Paul’s Nursing School she went to work in labor and delivery at St. Paul’s Hospital in Dallas. Shortly after marrying Dewey Mosley in 1969 the couple moved to Terrell where Bridget became Head Nurse at Colonial Hospital. In 1970 they welcomed their daughter, Emily into the world. Then in 2012, much to the delight of Bridget and everyone, Emily gave birth to Brennan Michael West. Bridget had a love of nature and spent many hours watching birds and shared her fondness of the outdoors with Emily as well as her nieces and nephews. She was also a member of the Audubon Society. Bridget was outspoken in politics and leaned decidedly to the left. She had a lively sense of humor and often joked that she had outsmarted death before by surviving being struck by lightning, three open-heart surgeries and even being hit by a car in a parking lot. Bridget was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Franklin Mosley; her sister, Mary Brennan-Ott; and her niece, Liz Gatons. Her daughter, Emily Kinder; grandson, Brennan Michael West; and her sister, Nora Brennan Cook survive her along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and others who will remember her always.
