Edward Donald Howard

Edward Donald Howard, of Terrell, passed away peacefully on Dec. 4, 2014. Ed was born Oct. 1, 1933 in Potosi, MO to George and Gertrude (Duncan) Howard, both of whom preceded him in death along with his brother, Gerald Howard and sister, Debbie Maxey. Ed was a devoted father and husband and loving grandfather. His easygoing and generous personality made him a friend to all. Ed is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Sylvia Howard, of Terrell; children: Claudette Sowers and husband, Dan of Terrell, Frances Whittington and husband, Larry, of Purlear, NC, Frank Howard and wife, Alison, of Fountain Valley, CA; grandchildren: Quinn and Kinley Howard; siblings: Richard Howard, Ruth Shelton, Linda Smith, Judy Zensen, John Howard and Dennis Howard as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends. A celebration of Ed’s life will be at 2:00pm, Monday, Dec. 8, 2014 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel with Rev. Chuck Aaron officiating.
