Faye Lee Cooper

Faye Cooper, age 91, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017. Faye was born in Henderson County, Texas to the late Aubrey Lee Huckabee and Elizabeth Swain Huckabee. She was a longtime resident of the Kaufman County area and worked many years as a telephone operator. Faye loved her dogs and cats and enjoyed doing arts and crafts.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Charlsie Reed and Sheryl Huckabee; and brothers, Daniel and Kenneth Huckabee. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Linda Cooper of Harlingen, TX; brother, Gerald Huckabee of Myrtle Springs, TX; sister, Marge Hardy of Mineola, TX; grandchildren, Rachel Cooper of Addison, TX, Hope Jandrew of Terrell, TX and Loyd Armstrong of Terrell, TX; and great grandchildren, Leah Cranford of Travis AFB, CA and Steven Wallace of Terrell, TX.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Faye’s memory can be made to Meals on Wheels, 115 N Adelaide St, Terrell, TX 75160 or the American Cancer Society.
