

Mark Carmichael passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 in Terrell, Texas at the age of 53 with his wife by his side. He was born to Willie T Carmichael and Almeta (Dever) Carmichael on January 1, 1964 in Garland, Texas. Mark grew up in Mesquite, Texas and went to Mesquite High School. He was a lover of music and songwriter & in his 53 years learned how to play many instruments which led him to start his own band called, Fallen Angel with Brian & Bruce Dunivan. He also had many other passions such as playing softball and poker, shooting his guns and rooting for the Texas Rangers & Dallas Cowboys but his favorite thing to do was spend time with his children & grandbabies. He also was the founder of Carmichael Christian Prison Ministry. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Randy Carmichael, & baby W.T. Carmichael; son, Baby Carmichael; father-in-law, Bro. Chuck Schorlemmer; & brother-in-law, Lester Schorlemmer. Mark is survived by his loving wife, Elisabeth Carmichael; son, Ben Carmichael & wife Melissa; daughter, Jennifer Rawlinson & Justin Rawlinson; daughter, Lauren Erving & husband John; son, Shelby Nowland; son, Lee Heo; son, Christian Carmichael; daughter, Abbye Nowland-Carmichael; son, Clayton Carmichael; & loving pet pig, Penelope Louise Carmichael; grandchildren, Devon, Holden, & Abbi Carmichael, Emma, Sophie, & Gianna Derringer, Jordyn Erving, & Kyla Rawlinson; sister, Carolyn Grady & husband Dale; brother, Don Carmichael & wife Sherri; sister, Janice York & husband David; brother, Jeff Carmichael & wife Terri; sister, Sandy Spencer & husband Charlie; he also leaves behind very special nieces & nephews to cherish his memory. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Terrell, Texas. Funeral Service will be Friday, May 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm also at Anderson-Clayton in Terrell with interment immediately following at Oakland Cemetery in Terrell, Texas.
