Meagan Richardson, 19, of Wylie, passed away Sept. 26, 2014. She was born January 23, 1995 in San Diego, CA. A light to so many, Meagan was a wonderful young woman with a passion and love for life. Words that can describe, but never do complete justice to, Meagan are: awesome, loveable, academic, competitive, driven, compassionate and caring. She was a young lady who knew exactly what she wanted out of life and her accomplishments are a direct result of her attentive personality. She made sure that any and all factors in any of her endeavors were carefully planned to the last detail. Her competitive spirit propelled her to excel in her academics and as a softball player. Her intensity was balanced with her talent as a painter and, after creating a painting, she was known to give the creation away for others to enjoy. A North Central Texas College attendee and a gifted scholar, Meagan was on the President’s List for her sustaining a 4.0 GPA and she was also the pitcher for the Lady Lions Softball Team. Meagan’s major illustrated her personality perfectly as she was attaining her degree to teach in Special Education. Meagan gave 100% of her heart, her commitment and her dedication all the time, every time and she will be greatly missed. Meagan was welcomed into Heaven by her grandparents, Beverly McKey and Isidoro (Bill) Marrone and Herman Wayne Rome. She leaves to cherish her legacy her parents: Teresa and Ronnie Richardson of Wylie; sisters: Chelsea Richardson of Wichita Falls and Kaylee Richardson of Wylie; grandmother, Jean Rome and her fiancé, Victor Jones as well as several other extended family members and a host of friends. Meagan’s wishes were to have a gathering and everyone is welcome to share stories and memories on Satruday, Oct. 11, 2014, 2:00 to 4:00pm at one of her favorite places, the Wylie Recreation Center, 300 Country Club Drive, Wylie, TX, 75098. In honor of her love of academics and sports, the family has set up a fund for a scholarship in Meagan’s memory and donations can be made to www.gofundme.com/f90DKG.
