Truman Winston Johnson

Truman Winston Johnson, of Terrell, passed away June 27, 2014 in Rockwall. Truman was born November 22, 1945 in Terrell to Millard and Jina (Brown) Johnson and was a lifelong resident. He attended Terrell schools and was employed with Madix. He was a hard working man who cherished his family and friends. Truman was preceded in death by his parents and his two sons: Terry and Larry Johnson; siblings: Jimmy Don Johnson, Raymond Johnson, Charley Johnson, Doyle Johnson, and Virginia Ann Bailey. He leaves to carry on his legacy his son: Brian Johnson; step-daughter, Stephanie Mosley and husband, Thomas; grandchildren: Chase and Lauren Mosley; siblings: Junior Johnson and wife, Rose, James Johnson, Willie Mae Haynes and husband, Lewis and Peggy Lee Jones; former wives: Linda McGee, mother of his sons, Terry and Larry and Connie Johnson, mother of Brian; special friend, Marianne Harris and best friend, Larry Hunter as well as several other nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends. Funeral service will be at 4:00pm, Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel with family receiving friends Monday, 6-8pm at the funeral home.
