Willie (Tim) Morgan

Willie Burke Morgan ( Tim ) of Mesquite, went home to be with The Lord on January 7, 2015. Tim was born March 26, 1931 in Rockwall County, Tx. to George Monroe Morgan and Ola Lessie ( Williams ) Morgan both of whom preceded him in death along with four sons: Timothy Lane Morgan, Gary Keith Morgan, Tony Dale Morgan and Richard Wayne Morgan; siblings Aleene, Lyla, Lorene, Leola, Arthur, Herman and Cecil. Tim proudly served in the US Army and worked in aircraft manufacturing at Vought Aircraft ( previously known as LTV ) as well as Rohr Aircraft in San Diego, Ca. Never one to stay idle, Tim loved to restore 60's era Ford pick up trucks. The best memories of Tim always involved good food, loved ones and friends. He was a man with a great sense of humor who never met a stranger. His easy going and affable personality made many people instant friends with him and his smile will be a treasured memory for those whose lives he touched. He is survived by his son George Morgan of Mesquite; five grandchildren: Michael, Keith, Brian, Todd and Christy as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Monday, Jan. 12, 2015 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home - Chapel with interment to follow at Campground Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 pm, Monday prior to service.
