Alene Elizabeth Ashley was deeply devoted to her family and had a special gift for loving children. She cherished her own children and grandchildren dearly, taking special time with each and every one of them. Alene was drawn to the children of her extended family — her nieces, nephews, and so many others who were blessed by her care. She was a safe place, offering comfort, love, and security to all who knew her.
Alene loved her husband, William Tildon Ashley. She cherished their marriage and their deep friendship, and together they shared a beautiful bond that could not be broken. They spent their years together building a life filled with love, laughter, and faith.
Her faith was the foundation of her life. Alene loved the Lord and joyfully shared her faith, teaching every child in her family about her Savior, Jesus Christ. She often spoke of her salvation and the peace it brought her.
Alene was a beautiful woman inside and out, and she was loved by many who will forever carry her kindness, warmth, and love in their hearts.
