Barbara June Stultz

A Texarkana native, June graduated from Texas High and attended Texarkana College. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker who went on to a distinguished career in healthcare accounting and administration.

In retirement she lived out her lifelong love for animals by working in and supporting animal rescue organizations.

June is survived by her brother Carlton "Bud" Simmons of Fairbanks, AK; her son Randal Melton of Billings, MT and many wonderful cousins and other kin.

Preceding her in death were her sister, Patricia Sue Simmons, her mother Thelma King Simmons, her father George Truett Simmons and beloved aunts Marguerite King Sivley, Mildred King Purdell and Mary Simmons Blizzard.

In the last years of her life, June was blessed to have friends and caretakers who loved and looked after her, among them: Melva Stultz, Shannon Lock and Kelly Sullivan. The family is grateful to and uplifted by everyone who helped her through those sometimes difficult days.

June's wit and passion will be missed by all in her circle of friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor her memory are asked to make a donation to their local animal rescue organization or other charity.
