Betty Jo Ward

Mrs. Ward was born October 12, 1943 in Delight, AR. She was a Christian and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ella Wilson.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Joe E. Ward. Two sons and daughters-in-laws, Bob and Kim Ward and Bruce and Angel Ward, five grandchildren: Carolan Cole, Lane Edward Ward, Samantha Ward, Karlie Ward, and Coy Ward, and one great great granddaughter. Five sisters, Billie Morrow, Beckie Weekly, Berniece Wilson and two special sisters, Barbara Dickerson and Brenda Musgrove, and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, December 8, 2014 at East Funeral Home – Downtown with Brother Todd Reed officiating. Burial will be at East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home – Downtown.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, December 7, 2014 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
