Billy Wayne Cottingham, Jr., 45, of Nash, TX died Friday December 9, 2011 in a local hospital. He was born on March 10, 1966 in Bessemer AL were he attended Oak Grove High School. Mr Cottingham had taken IBM training and ASF programing, he had worked at Bank Corp South for 15 years and was employed with Walsh Distribution and Century Bank in the IT departments.
He is survived by his life partner of 25 years Donal Craig Smith of Nash, TX; mother Christine Foster of Madison, WI; two sisters Becky Knudtson of Texarkana, AR and Kristin Mitkos of Madison, WI; three nephews Brian Chapman of Savannah,GA, Trey Merchant of Texarkana, TX and Coby Trent of Madison,WI; three nieces Lenzie Merchant of Little Rock, AR, Autumn Murphy of Madison, WI and Kaitlyn Grace Mitkos of Madison, WI and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins in Alabama.
A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Cremation will be under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.
