Charleen was an amazing woman with many talents. She was a writer, poet, published author, and an artist with oil and acrylic. She read profusely and was skilled at giving book reviews and telling stories to all the grandchildren.
Everyone who met her felt the warmth and love she expressed through her smile.
She played volleyball in school at Liberty Eylau, and continued that sport even into her 70’s.
She was an elder in the Community of Christ Church and over the years ministered to several generations of children through Sunday school, church camps, and scouting programs.
