Mr. Lanier was born October 16, 1920 in Stillwater,Oklahoma. He was a retired butcher and a WWII veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Eula Lanier, his son, Charles Ray Lanier and daughter, Karen Upchurch.
Survivors include his son Roger Lanier of Hope, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren; Nicole Nichols of Texarkana, Texas, Dusty Lanier of Texarkana,Arkansas, Dara Lanier of Carrollton,Texas and Reena Corbin of Texarkana,Texas and 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
