Connie Louise Stone

Connie Louise Stone, born on May 24, 1949, passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 76. She worked as a social worker for the state of Texas for many years. She was the wife of Mike Stone, and mother of Rachel Stone and Dyanne Sturdivant. Grandmother of Annabelle and John-Michael Sturdivant. Connie was a nature lover and avid photographer. She never lost her eye for details, or passion for animals. She would always be found reading, whether it was online periodicals or novels. She was a sports fan of Auburn and the Razorbacks, even though she graduated with her Bachelor of Psychology from Texas A&M university. She was the first in her family to graduate from college and did so with a husband and two children at the age of 27. She was intelligent and quick witted and expressed her displeasure with a raising of the eyebrow. She was thoughtful and had a deep concern for the less fortunate. She always made people feel like they belonged, simply because she welcomed them with her heart. She never judged someone for their past or their financial status, but rather by how they treated the lowest in society. She will be missed.

Connie was a resident of Texarkana, Arkansas.
