She was born on April 4, 1913 in Fulton, AR. Mrs Turner was a member of Okay Community Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband Claude Turner, Sr.; two sons Claude Turner, Jr. (Bucky) and George Turner,; two daughters Sara Gortney and Sally Moten.
Survivors include four daughters, Lois Hawthorne of Fulton, AR, Hattie Kennington of Texarkana, AR, Rose Hamilton of Washington, AR and Jean Moten of McNab, AR; one son Tommy Turner of Texarkana, AR. Also a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren,great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Service will be 10am Saturday, May 18, 2013 at East Memorial Chapel-Downtown. Burial will be in Rondo Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Friday, May 17, 2013 at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
