Survivors include his wife, Barbara Johnston of Texarkana, AR; sons, Dean Ray Johnston, Jr. and David Alan Johnston both of Texarkana, TX; daughter, Christina Wade of Texarkana, TX; brothers, Raymond Johnston of Doddridge, AR, Orbie Lee Johnston, Jr. of Texarkana, TX, John Johnston of NC and Dave Johnston of Doddridge, AR; sisters, Thelma Johnston of Texarkana, AR, Judy McKinney of Fouke, AR, Faye McClain and Syble Clark both of Texarkana, AR; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Monday, September 26, 2016 at Rocky Mound Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the funeral home.
