Don Allen Waloshin

Donald "Don" Allen Waloshin, age 72, of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Don was born November 25,1949 in Bienfait, Saskatchewan Canada. He currently worked at Texarkana Radio for many years as a sales representative. Don loved golfing, the outdoors and working in his shop. He was a person who loved fixing anything he could get his hands on and staying busy. He was also a lover of aviation and flying. He was also an avid guitar player and loved music as well as dancing.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Annie Waloshin; one son Nathan Waloshin and a brother Harry Waloshin.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Cheryl Waloshin; two daughters and sons-in-laws Serene Waloshin and Mark Norwood of Nash, TX. and Kim and Rusty Thomas of Redwater, TX; one grandson Dillon Waloshin of Enid, OK. and one granddaughter Alexis Bussey of Hope, AR., one brother Henry Waloshin; one sister Dorothy Solberg and one sister-in-law Lavina Waloshin all of Canada, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Family will have a gathering 10:00 am to 12 noon Saturday, January 22, 2022 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane. Lunch will be provided immediately after gathering at the funeral home.
