She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rankin; and a son, James Rankin.
Survivors include her daughters, Wanda Thompson and Peggy Hodge both of Hooks, TX; sons , Eddie Rankin and Allen Rankin both of Texarkana, AR, and Stevie Rankin, Sr. of Texarkana, TX; brother, Drewey Don McMullan of Magnolia, AR; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Chuck and Adonna Borah of Texarkana, AR; 18 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, September 29, 2011 at East Memorial Chapel – Downtown with Bro. Randy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home – Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the funeral home.
