Douglas Kelly Missildine

Douglas Kelly Missildine born January 11, 1956 in Texarkana, AR. Passed away September 19, 2014 and was preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years, Sally Missildine and his parents Jeanette and Leon Missildine, Sr. He attended Cornerstone Baptist Church. He was employed with Christus St. Michael Hospital for 20 years. He also owned Missildine Pump Service and was a member of the Plumber and Pipe Fitters Union.

Doug is survived by his children Lana and John Robert Lee, Janet and Rusty Krieger and Kelly and Tommy Surber. Five grandchildren, Wade and Dylan Thompson, Josh, Haley and Kyle Krieger. One sister, Karen Davis and three brothers, Leon Missildine, Jr. , Mark Missildine and Ernie Missildine.

Doug had a tremendous passion for the outdoors, where he spent countless memorable moments hunting and fishing with family and friends. Doug will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be missed by many.

Funeral service will be 10 A.M. Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Rev. Norm Melton and Deacon David Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony Grove Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 P.M. at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
