Elizabeth P Griffin

Elizabeth "Tootsie" Griffin, 92, of Wake Village TX died Saturday December 24, 2011 in a local hospital. She was born on August 5, 1919 in Texarkana, TX. Mrs. Griffin was a member of Hardy Memorial United Methodist Church and was a member of United Methodist Womens.

She is preceded in death by her husband J.E. Griffin.

Survivors include two daughters Mary Lou Blalock of Wake Village, TX and Locksley May of Wake Village, TX, four grandchildren and their spouses Cliff and Kim Blalock of Redwater, TX, Lisa and Sean Nolen of Wake Village, TX, John and Tara May of Texarkana, AR, and April and Jason Gray of Luxora, AR, 7 great grandchildren Ashley Chookas, Braden May, Caroline May, Burke Flowers, Logan Gray, Connor Gray, and Wesley Gray, one great great grandchild Isabella Chookas and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2pm Wednesday December 28, 2011 at East Memorial Chapel-Downtown with Rev. Preston Greenwaldt officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday December 27, 2011 at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
