He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolton Butler and his father and mother, Jack, Sr. and Helen Butler.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Phillip and Debbie Ann Butler and Sam and Tammy Butler; one daughter and her husband, Cindy Lu Butler and Floyd Stevens; two grandsons, Jerrod Butler and his wife, Lindsey and Ben Butler; two sisters, Betty Nell Webb and Ann Irene Butler McConnell; and a host of nephews.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
