James Garfield Hensley

James Garfield Hensley, 89 of Texarkana, AR. passed away Sunday October 21, 2012 at a local hospital. Mr. Hensley was born March 6, 1923 in Garland, AR. He was retired from the City of Texarkana, AR. Mr. Hensley was a Baptist and an Army veteran of World War II.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane Hensley.

Survived by four sons and daughters-in-law Joe and Suni Renee Hensley of Fouke, AR., Butch and Carolyn Hensley of Texarkana, AR., Larry and Pat Hensley of Cabot, AR. and James and Kathleen Hensley of Genoa, AR; one daughter and son-in-law Janie and Roy Hogeland of Wake Village, TX; a brother Rev. James L. Hensley of Linden, TX; a special granddaughter Timeka Danna of Rosston, AR; and a special friend Jeff Brown of Rosston, AR; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Shiloh Cemetery with Rev. James L. Hensley officiating.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 P.M. on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Family will be at 702 Ida Street, Texarkana, AR.
