Jewel Lacefield

Jewel Lacefield, age 86, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at a local hospice. He was born on July 30, 1938 in Nashville, AR. Mr Lacefield was retired from Georgia Pacific Paper Mill and was veteran of the U S Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Ann Lacefield, two sons Jeff Lacefield and Terry Lacefield and a grandson, Alex McBride.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Steven Fant of Texarkana, TX; son, Markham Hodges of Houston, TX; two brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby and Julie Lacefield of Ashdown, AR and Jimmy Lacefield of Mena, AR; three sisters and brother-in-law, Mary and Mack Lambeth of DeQueen, AR, Glenda Dykes of New Boston, TX and Donna Lambeth of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Jerred Lacefield, Casey McBride and Devin Lacefield; a number of great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 10am Monday, September 9, 2024 at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with Bobby Lacefield officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.
